This Is My Life

My life is pretty much an average everyday life, but if there was an odd chance that some very famous director decided to make a movie of my life this is how it would go. I would have the credits before the movie started and some bonus features at the end.
The movie would skim over my life as a child just telling the important things that I accomplished. It would show memories of my first steps, words, and possibly the first time I played with scissors and gave myself a haircut. After those scenes were over it would go dark show the title and then bring up me as a 9 year old that loved to get in trouble.
At this time was in 3rd or 4th grade and almost spent all my time in school picking fights and sitting in the principal’s office with my parents. I got in trouble so many times they decided they wouldn’t give me another chance to get in trouble and made me do work for the janitor. The time I spent with him made me realize that I never got to do any of the amazing stuff the other kids got to do, so I began to turn my life around. Fortunate for me, my parents decided to move to a little town where no one knew me and I could start my life over.
Ferron was a town that nobody really knew about, because it little and was located in the middle of nowhere. I had very little time in the summer to look around town and meet people before school started. Fifth grade came at me like preschool where everyone looks at you as a stranger they wanted to avoid, but as time went on everyone started to talk to me and I didn’t feel so alone. This town saw me as a child with good parents and that acted appropriately, and not as a bully that was always spending time in the principal’s office.
My 6th grade teacher helped me stay out of trouble tremendously. When I would get in trouble he would assign me a small essay that was almost impossible to a kid my age. I hated these essays so much I finally decided to stay out of trouble all together, and that’s when I got out of grade school and into junior high. I was treated like dirt during the first part of 7th grade. The hard part was to get the teachers to like you and not treat you like a nuisance.
It wouldn’t take spend too much time in 7th grade, because not much happened. The main things it would go over in my 7th grade year was the first couple of years and the little league super bowl game. That game was one Ferron didn’t see that often, but this year we had a team that was unstoppable. Huntington is the team that usually takes it, so this year we chose to pick on them and end their winning streak. Over all we succeeded in this goal and earned a trophy for the city of Ferron to look at for decade to come.
Life was good in 8th grade and that’s why this year was the main part of the movie. I never once got in trouble and my grades were amazing. Our football team took a rank of undefeated champions, I was on honor society, and had amazing friends.

Stuck In Neutral New Ending

“Shawn,” my father says quietly “this is the best I can do to take away your pain.” We sit there in the silent night just staring at each other.  I wish I could tell him that the seizures were ok, I actually enjoyed them, that I could understand everything they told me, and I remembered everything since I was 5 years old.
Being able to say none of this, my father slowly came closer with the pillow.  As the pillow touched, my face I very softly cried out, “please don’t do it dad, please.” The moment after I noticed that I had said something was when my father lifted the pillow with a face that could cheer up the saddest person it the world.
“Lindy, Lindy get in here quickly this is important,” my father yelled throughout the house. My mom ran in thinking the worst had happened, but as my father told her what just happened she gave me the biggest hug I have ever had. This day changed my life, now I could speak to people and tell them what I was thinking about and nobody treated me like a baby anymore.

The Mist of the Mountain

It was a quiet calm morning in the small town of Mountain View, Utah as a strange thick mist crept over the land. The mist slowly spread throughout the town causing farmers to harvest their fields early before the mist got to them and caused them to work as if they were blind. The townsfolk decided to close the roads in attempt to stop people from crashing. This mist came over the town by surprise causing people just to stay in today and not worry about their daily jobs.
At the time of the mist, a young farm boy named Jake was up on the mountain with a friend camping. He arose to a sudden crash as if a vehicle just swerved off the road not five yards from his tent. He ran out to see what it was but as he looked around all he could see was a white mist, this mist made it so he could not see his own hand inches in front of his face. Jake kept walking trying not to stumble over anything, now finding what the source of the sound was. The horrible sound was nothing but his friend Michael tripping himself onto some of the cooking utensils they had used the previous day. Jake went to help Michael up and then started to think of what they were going to do with all this fog.
Jake was a kid who would help out, he would drop something just to come help you even with the simplest things. Jake helped his father everyday out on the field, occasionally helped his mom tidy up the house and even assisted his two little brothers with their homework.  Michael on the other hand would rather do things for himself then he would think about going and helping somebody. His household consisted of his parents and his little sister who he almost never got along with.
“Are you ok” Jake asked as he helped Michael up. “Yeah I just can’t see a thing,” Michael replied. “I don’t know where this mist came from, but I do know we can’t drive home in it,” Jake said while looking for any clear spot in his surroundings.
Both boys spent the afternoon in their tent waiting for the sky to clear up so they could start down the road and head home. Hours went by and still they could see nothing. Getting sick of waiting Michael decided to go out and explore seeing if there was a way out the mist, but as Michael started out of the tent he heard a death wrenching screech that sounded as if something had just injured itself.
Jake now stepping out of the tent in fear slowly started toward the truck on the opposite side of the campground. Jake was about half way there when he heard Michael not five yards behind him. Michael followed Jake into the cab of the truck and turned on the lights, that’s when they noticed a strange figure had followed them across the area now standing just feet from the front of the truck.
At first the figure seemed to be watching them but as they look closer they noticed it was running straight at them and at this moment it was too late. The figure crashed through the windshield of the truck and was now sitting between the boys desperately to get around to one of them. In panic Jake reached under the seat and pulled out a small pistol shooting the unknown beast several times.
The area was now silent again as if nothing had happened. Jake look at the figure discovering it was nothing but a fawn. Thinking it was just lost and thought they were predators Jake sadly sighed.
“Michael can you believe what just happened,” questioned Jake “Michael, hey Michael why aren’t you answering me.”
Looking over at his friend in the seat next to him, Jake noticed several shells had gone through the deer and pierced Michael in the arm and once in the chest. Knowing there was no time to waste Jake started the truck and headed down the to quiet mountain side.
They made it about half down the mountain when to mist started to clear. It was only seconds after that when they heard that screech again. Looking behind them Jake noticed another figure chasing them but this one was 10x bigger. In Seeing this he gradually sped up trying to out run the figure.
He made it down the mountain with out another glimpse of the huge figure but as he entered town the mist had disappeared. The town had looked as if a bomb had gone off and there were people lying on the streets everywhere.  It seemed something had attacked them as they were closing the town’s local businesses and roads.
Jake headed past the deathly streets until he reached to hospital. Jake ran in side looking everywhere for somebody that could help him but in every room he found dead bodies that had started to decompose.  As he got outside a huge bull moose which he guessed was the figure chasing them down the mountain had come back and it was heading towards Michael. Jake ran towards it yelling and screaming trying to scare it off instead it changed direction and was now charging Jake. Jake flipped around now running to get back inside the hospital and get out of site.
Jake hid on the second floor hoping he was safe and thinking about how to get back down to help Michael before he died. Now descended in caution from where he hid Jake made his way back out to the truck. At the time he had got out there Michael was on the ground crawling towards him.
“Michael don’t move,” Jake yelled as he ran towards him. In a weak soft voice Michael whimpered, “Jake turn around.”
By the time Jake understood what Michael had said it was to late the moose had hit him full force with his horns. Michael watched this in agony not being able to doing anything about it. He now lie there alone crying to himself until the wounds he had took his life.
